Tell the General Assembly to Support Medical Freedom

Oct 6, 2021

The Pennsylvania House and Senate are considering multiple pieces of legislation related to medical freedom. The bills range from banning vaccine passports and mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations to allowing parents to opt their children out of mask mandates imposed by school districts.

Last week the Pennsylvania Senate moved legislation out of committee that would allow parents to opt their children out of school district mask mandates. In the House, several Republicans voted against a bill that would have helped parents pay for in-person education if their school district closed or imposed COVID 19 mandates. In voting against the measure, these Republicans sided with the teachers’ unions and against parents whose children would be negatively impacted by school closures and unreasonable mandates.

Over the past eighteen months, we have gone from “two weeks to flatten the curve” to “if you don’t get vaccinated against COVID-19, you’re fired.” Likely, school districts will soon require children to be vaccinated using biotechnology, where we know nothing about the long-term effects.

This has to stop.
